    We work in a TEAM environment to cultivate an atmosphere that provides our guests with a fine dining experience that far exceeds any expectations. The SERVER position is one of the most important roles in the company. You are on the “front line” spending more time with our guests than anyone else. Your challenge is to combine product knowledge, salesmanship, personality and charm resulting in a complete and joyful dining experience for our guests, making each guests’ visit a memorable one. This role is a fulltime position that supports quality service, genuine hospitality and refined service.

    We are hiring servers based on the needs of our cigar lounge and restaurant. The Server position will be responsible for monitoring the guests’ needs and in all phases of the dining experience; meeting and exceeding guest expectations by implementing steps of service for guests consistently, able to adapt style to guests and establishing a rapport that makes guest feel that all their needs have been met and they can’t wait to come back.

    Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Required Experience

    • Able to work in cigar smoke.
    • Experienced in fine dining and beverage service only, minimum two (2) years’ experience in a fine dining establishment.
    • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
    • Open availability; must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Minimum 2 years fine dining food and beverage server experience.
    • Previous POS system experience.
    • Must have excellent knowledge of fine dining room and service procedures and functions.

    Essential Job Functions

    • A positive attitude and a passion for helping create enjoyable experiences for our guest.
    • Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations.
    • Product knowledge is essential and must know all aspects of the menu and beverage offerings.
    • Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested.
    • Offer suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques (daily specials, cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner beverages and cigars).
    • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal & written).
    • Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register and POS system.
    • Professional presentation and positive attitude.
    • All areas are kept clean and immaculate.
    • Detailed oriented.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc. Work Conditions: May require evening and weekend hours. While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works in an indoor front of restaurant and kitchen environment with exposure to heat from ovens, hot foods and steamers and cleaning chemicals, fumes, equipment, and metal objects. You will usually be based indoors, splitting your time between the front of the restaurant and the kitchen.     Additionally, the Host cares for our guests by refilling beverages and performs light housekeeping duties
    such as cleaning glass and menus, and ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly. Being
